The Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (ACNPN), Delta State Council, is set to hold its 2025 Annual Conference today in Ibusa, with distinguished personalities scheduled to grace the occasion.
Leading the event is Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, who will serve as Chairman of the Conference. The Executive Governor of Delta State will attend as Special Guest of Honour, underscoring the importance the state government places on grassroots journalism and community-based communication.
Also expected are Pastor Idowu Okeze and Victor Odebala Esq, both serving as Guests of Honour, joining media practitioners, publishers, awardees, and invited stakeholders from across Delta State.
The conference is designed to promote dialogue on the growth of community journalism, strengthen partnerships with government institutions, and recognise individuals who have contributed meaningfully to media development at the grassroots.
