Cases of male parents raping their daughters have been on the rise in many parts of the Republic of Kenya.
The most recent incident happened in Juja Town in Kiambu County, where a man was arrested after raping her four daughters at different times.
Preliminary reports indicate that the police officers are continuing to detain a man accused of raping his four daughters and even forcing them to have abortions.
The operation which was led by Kiambu County CEC Annah Cheptumo, police officers and children’s rights activists exposed the bad behaviour of the suspect.
Cheptumo said that one girl who was impregnated by her dad and forced to have an abortion exposed the syndicate by secretly passing the message to children’s rights activists.
Chemptumo said that the victim wrote a message saying that my dad has defiled me, impregnated me and is forcing me to have an abortion before the authorities kicked in and did the operation.
Reports indicate that the suspect has been defiling his four daughters for a long time and has been issuing threats upon the victims.
The suspect has been arrested and is currently being held at Juja Police Station awaiting to be arraigned in court to face defilement charges against his four daughters.
The victims have been taken to hospital to receive treatment and are currently under the good care of the government dealing with children’s rights.
While speaking to the media, Affecto Foundation Founder Ndung’u Nyoro said that the suspect has been showing the children pornographic videos contrary to the law
