A young lady was on Wednesday apprehended inside a commercial bank after allegedly trying to withdraw money using stolen ATM cards.
Eyewitnesses said the suspect was caught by bank security personnel while attempting a suspicious transaction at the counter. Although it is still unclear how she obtained the cards, some customers alleged she had swapped them with those of unsuspecting account holders, while others claimed she stole them within the banking hall.
In a viral video circulating online, the woman was seen being confronted and questioned by security operatives and customers who expressed outrage over the incident.
Bank authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the case as investigations continue
