The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC), has announced winners of the Saturday’s local government election in Osun across the 30 local government areas in the State.
This declaration was made by OSSIEC Chairman, Hashim Abioye on Saturday night in Osogbo.
Abioye announced names of all chairmen-elect for the 30 local councils of the state.
Meet the newly elected Chairmen in the 30 Local Government Councils of Osun State as announced by OSSIEC;
- Boripe – Babalola Wasiu Kayode
- Egbedore – Okunade Oluwafemi Adesanya
- Ife Central – Adeyenuwo Rotimi John
- Obokun – Agboola Francis Olajire
- Isokan – Azeez Lateef
- Boluwaduro – Aina Abayomi Adesina
- Ola Oluwa – Sodiq Samuel Oluwapelumi
- Irepodun – Ajibade Oluwatoyin S.
- Ilesa West – Adebanjo Oladiti Tunmininu

Abioye also noted that all councillors who contested under the Peoples Democratic Party are winners.
The State electoral boss added that who so ever is interested in certified original copy of the election can approach the commission
