A Nigerian man has ignited a wave of online and offline reactions after publicly withdrawing all his money — totaling a reported ₦594,000 — from Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) in protest over the arrest of controversial influencer VeryDarkMan (VDM).
In a viral video circulating across social media platforms, the man, whose identity remains undisclosed, was seen holding a GTBank withdrawal receipt while urging fellow Nigerians to join a mass protest against what he called “oppression of the truth.”
