2027: Idawene, Majemite, Onwo,  others drum support for Tinubu, Oborevwori’s re-election.

‎The Chairman and Convener of the Integrity Group of Nigeria, Dr. Oke Idawene, has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will secure resounding victories in the 2027 general elections, citing what he described as their visible developmental strides and people-oriented leadership.

‎Dr. Idawene stated this during a strategic meeting in Asaba convened to review progress, provide updates and consolidate support for the “Tinubu and Sheriff 4+4” agenda. He described the gathering as a critical moment for supporters of the Oborevwori administration, stressing that 2027 is an election year that demands deliberate planning and mobilisation.

‎“This is a time to strategise on how to deliver President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. The Integrity Group stands firmly in affirmation of ‘two plus two’ in support of the Renewed Hope and MORE Agenda,” he said.

‎According to him, both President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori have demonstrated true leadership at the national and state levels, justifying the group’s endorsement. He added that the Integrity Group is actively mobilising Deltans across the state to ensure massive support at the polls.

‎Delivering a paper titled “2027: There Is No Vacancy in Asaba Government House and Aso Rock,” Prof. U.N.O. Edewor, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Delta State University (DELSU), declared that the performances of the Tinubu and Oborevwori administrations have earned them automatic return tickets.

‎He described their style of governance as grassroots-driven, strategic and focused on national rebirth and sustainable economic growth.

‎“The APC at both national and state levels under President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori is progressively repositioning the country from years of misrule.

‎The Renewed Hope and MORE Agenda is clear, focused and backed by verifiable infrastructural development and human capital investment, especially in youth and women empowerment,” Prof. Edewor said.

‎Speaking at the event, Mr. Felix Ofou noted that the Integrity Group has carved a niche for itself in the promotion of Governor Oborevwori’s administration.

‎He expressed confidence that both Tinubu and Oborevwori would emerge victorious in 2027 and urged members to intensify efforts in APC e-registration to ensure massive electoral success and increased political relevance for Delta State.

‎Dr. Reginald Bayoko, former Head of Service and Secretary of the College of Patrons of the Integrity Group, emphasised the importance of integrity in public and political life.

‎He commended Dr. Idawene for his commitment and unwavering belief in the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, while calling on members to prioritise voter registration.

‎In a goodwill message, Dame Princess Minnie Igbrude thanked God for the progress recorded by the group and praised Dr. Idawene for his sacrificial leadership, love and dedication.

‎She described the Integrity Group as an integral part of the MORE Agenda, asserting that Governor Oborevwori’s performance has virtually eliminated any serious contest against him in 2027.

‎She also encouraged members to attract opposition figures to join the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.

‎As Coordinator of Tinubu Touchbearers in Delta State, Dame Igbrude said President Tinubu is laying a solid foundation for a prosperous Nigeria and urged citizens to remain patient, assuring them that the country is on the path to greatness.

‎Goodwill messages from Barrister Fred Majemite and Hon. Ferguson Onwo reaffirmed their support for the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, commending the Integrity Group for its consistency and visibility in promoting the Oborevwori administration.

‎Also speaking, the Director-General, Okowa Mandate, Prince Tony Okobi, announced the collapse of the Okowa Mandate structure into the Integrity Group, noting that Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to development has led to the absence of governorship aspirants barely a year to the election.

‎Prince Mike Oputa, Secretary of the Elders Council of the Integrity Group, described the organisation as one of the most formidable pressure groups in Nigeria, praising the unmatched passion and commitment of its Convener, Dr. Oke Idawene.
