The Federated Union of Community Newspaper Publishers has presented an "AWARD of Excellent Service" to the Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwash-.uku, Professor Emmanuel Achuenu .
The presentation ceremony held on the 24, July 2025, at the office of the Rector attracted some management staff and other invited guests.
While presenting the award,the Deputy National Secretary of the Union, Prince Godwin Obaigbena noted that the Rector's track records of effective contributions to educational development spurred the union to present the award to the recipient.
In his profound appreciation, Prof. Achuenu said he was happy to receive the award noting that the award was a call to do more.
Other members of the union present at the award presentation ceremony include the publisher of Isoko Mirror Newspaper, Dr. Felida Essi as well as Comrade Apostle Frank.
