Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, has alleged that his children are being systematically denied admission into Nigerian universities because of his outspoken condemnation of the killing of Christians in Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Friday, Rev. Dachomo lamented that despite meeting all academic and administrative requirements, his children have repeatedly faced rejection—particularly from institutions in northern Nigeria. He believes the denials are directly linked to his public advocacy against what he describes as the persistent and systemic attacks on Christian communities, especially across Plateau State.
The cleric described the alleged discrimination as deeply troubling and unfair, stressing that his children are innocent and should not be made to suffer for his convictions or public interventions. According to him, his surname has become an invisible obstacle during admission screenings
