‎Omotola Odunsi, the YorubaNollywood actress, has reportedly died.

‎Her colleague, Bakare Zainab via Instagram on Thursday night announced the sad news, although the cause of death was not revealed.

‎haringSharing the photo of the actress, who featured in Lisabi alongside actor Lateef Adedimeji, Zainab wrote, “Goodnight. Omotola rest well.”

‎Ashabi, the babymama to controversial singer, Portable, also took to her social media to mourn, as she recounted the last moment with Omotola, expressing shock over the death.

‎She wrote,“Omoh dis one shock me oooo aunty tola. You’re one of the best actors I’m rooting for. Saw you earlier this year when I was shooting deputy and we promised to feature each other in our next project, but now u laboured and didn’t wait to reap what life sef.

‎“I remember nights you do chat to give me hope and advice, most of your wishes we talked about didn’t even come true GOD, we can’t question you oooo death is deep.”

‎Odunsi’s death is coming shortly after popular Nigerian TikToker Ms. Chinelo, known as BigButFit, passed away.

‎BigButFit, who is popularly known on TikTok as a body positivity advocate, was said to have died during a tummy procedure.

‎

‎However, the report indicated that she died from a hernia operation.
